U5 KickStart House
The #1 program for 3 and 4-year-olds in the North Shore. The U5 KickStart Program offers lots of fun, learning and development. The sessions are based on technical exercises, fun games and parent participation. Led by our incredibly entertaining staff, this program is ideal to build confidence and love for soccer from a young age.
This program offers parents to kick off their soccer journey too! With the opportunity to volunteer as assistant coaches and team managers, parents can support NVFC's staff in the delivery of the sessions. Learn more about the U5 KickStart program here.
Age of Birth: 2023/2022 born players
Dates: September 19 2026 to February 27 2027 (no sessions on Thanksgiving weekend and Family Day weekend).
Days: Thursdays at 9:30 am OR Saturdays at 2:30pm/3:30pm/4:30pm
- Thursdays at Fen Burdett Stadium
- Saturdays at Kirkstone ATF
Cost: $300
U6-U7 First Kix House
Teams will be coached by volunteer coaches, and will have one practice during the week and play a game every Saturday. Practices are usually on gravel, with the option for teams to book a gym after Thanksgiving. The schedule and location of practices/games is determined end of August (coaches get to choose their practice location and days). Games will take place at Brooksbank Field or Norgate Grass (U7 between 8:45am and 10:00am; U6 between 11:15am and 12:30pm). Learn more about the U6/U7 First Kix here.
Age of birth: 2021/2020 born players.
Dates: Mid-September to Late February.

U8 House
Teams will be coached by volunteer coaches, and will have one practice during the week and play a game every Saturday. Practices are usually on gravel. The schedule and location of practices/games is determined end of August. Games typically take place at William Griffin ATF. Teams will also receive a Team Development session every four weeks with NVFC staff. Learn more about the U8 age group here.

Dates: September to Late February.

U9-10 House
Teams will be coached by volunteer coaches, and will have one practice during the week and play a game every Saturday. Practices are usually on gravel. The schedule and location of practices/games is released at the end of August. Games are typically held at Kirkstone ATF (U9) and Sutherland (U10). These age groups participate in the NSYSA league and will play against other NSYSA clubs such as Sunshine Coast (SCYSA), Bowen Island (BIFC), West Vancouver (WVFC), Squamish (SQUFC), Whistler (WYSC) and Pemberton(PYSA). Team travel may be required. Teams will also receive a Team Development session every four weeks with NVFC staff.

U11-12 House
Teams will be coached by volunteer coaches, and will have one practice during the week and play a game every Saturday. Practice and game schedules are released at the end of August. These age groups participate in the NSYSA league and will play against other NSYSA clubs such as Sunshine Coast (SCYSA), Bowen Island (BIFC), West Vancouver (WVFC), Squamish (SQUFC), Whistler (WYSC) and Pemberton(PYSA). Team travel may be required. Teams will play on both grass and turf fields.

U13-18 House
Teams will be coached by volunteer coaches, and will have one practice during the week and play a game every Saturday. Teams will participate in the BCCSL as well as Coastal Cup.
Age of birth: 2013-2009
Dates: The BCCSL goes from September 2026 to late February 2027, and the BC Coastal Cup begins in March 2027

U9-U10 Select
Select players train during the week at a field which is determined closer to the start of the season, and play games every weekend, mainly at Kirstone ATF (U9) and Sutherland (U10). Select players will receive invitations to register for Select-only programs during the year. There are no transfer requests for select divisions.
Year of birth: 2018-2017 born players.

NVFC Refund Policies
Youth Teams
- Unpaid registration fees may result in the member being removed from the roster and active status within the District and BC Soccer.
- A player’s jersey(s) plus shorts must be returned to the team's manager before a refund will be processed.
- No registration fee refunds will be issued because of game cancellations or field/facility closures.
- The refunded amount may be pro-rated. Affiliation fees are non-refundable
Exceptions will be made for players:

Who move to a higher level of play within NVFC.

Who have a season-ending injury (doctor's note is required).

Whose families unexpectedly relocate out of the North Vancouver area ( proof of address required).

- All refund requests submitted by July 1st will be subject to a $25 admin fee
- All refund requests submitted from July 1st to August 15th will be subject to a $35 admin fee.
- All refund requests submitted from August 15th to September 30th will be subject to a $50 admin fee.
No refunds will be issued after September 30th.
Spring League
- No refunds/credits are accepted once teams are formed.
Select Fees
Unless we are unable to offer the player a position on a Select team, registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Programs and Camps Policy
- Development Programs: Refund requests are subject to an administrative fee of $25. NO REFUNDS OR CREDITS WILL BE ISSUED WITHIN 7 DAYS OF THE PROGRAM START DATE.
- Alternatively, a full credit toward future camps, programs or fall/winter season registrations can be issued with no administration fee. Credits can be used for any family member and do not expire. Credits requests must be made up to 7 days before the program starts.
- Refunds and credit request must be made by emailing the appropriate program contact above and indicating if a refund or credit is being requested.
- For BCSPL Prep/XDEV, Select, Player Development Academy, and Goalkeeper Programs, please contact Program Admin Jaki Guterres
- For U5, Camps, House Spring League, YoungStars, Small-Sided Games and Skills Clinics please contact Director Wisam Souki
- Sessions cancelled due to uncontrollable factors such as weather will not be made up. However, if 1/3 of the sessions in any particular phase get cancelled we will issue pro-rated refunds.
Financial Assistance
The Club recognizes that there are families in the community for whom the registration fees pose a genuine financial hardship. We are an inclusive club, and with the support of Jumpstart, Athletics for Kids (A4K), KidSport and the generous funding of Neptune Terminals, we have developed a program to ensure that the registration fee alone does not prevent youth from participation in our Club.
We ask that full consideration be given to whether assistance is truly needed. Overuse of this program puts these options at risk for those who really need it.
Participating Programs
Collection Notice
For players on a prorated multiple payment schedule, should they fail to complete payments, they will be contacted by the Registrar on two (2) instances over a 30-day period following the due date of the fees. Failure to communicate with the Club Registrar and/or making mutually agreeable alternate arrangements will result in their suspension from all club programs. Unpaid registration fees after the expiry of the 30-day period may also result in the member being removed from the roster and active status within the District and BC Soccer.
Where a payment plan has not been established between the Club and a registrant, the Club upholds the following principles in respect to the collection of any amounts due and payable to the Club by any registered member:
- Unpaid registration fees after the first month of any season of play or development program may result in the player being immediately removed from the roster and removed from active status within the District and BC Soccer.
- Unpaid registration fees or payment due on the account beyond 30-days from its due date will render the account to be not in good-standing and registration for Club programs will no longer be made available until the account is brought up to date.
New to Canada and aged 10 to 17?
- Non-Canadian citizens may require an International Player Transfer prior to registering. Please read the International Transfer Procedure to see if this applies to you.
