U5 KickStart House
The #1 program for 3 and 4-year-olds in the North Shore. The U5 KickStart Program offers lots of fun, learning and development. The sessions are based on technical exercises, fun games and parent participation. Led by our incredibly entertaining staff, this program is ideal to build confidence and love for soccer from a young age.
This program offers parents to kick off their soccer journey too! With the opportunity to volunteer as assistant coaches and team managers, parents can support NVFC's staff in the delivery of the sessions. Learn more about the U5 KickStart program here.
Age of Birth: 2021/2020 born players
Dates: LATE September 2024 to late February 2025
Days: Thursdays at 9:30 am OR Saturdays at 2:30pm/3:30pm/4:30pm
- Thursdays at Fen Burdett Stadium
- Saturdays at Kirkstone ATF

U6/U7 First Kix House
Teams will be coached by volunteer coaches, and will have one practice during the week and play a game every Saturday. Practices are usually on gravel, with the option for teams to book a gym space when winter starts. The schedule and location of practices/games is determined end of August. Age of birth: 2019/2018 born players.
Dates: Mid-September to Late February.

U8 House
Teams will be coached by volunteer coaches, and will have one practice during the week and play a game every Saturday. Practices are usually on gravel. The schedule and location of practices/games is determined end of August. Games typically take place at William Griffin ATF. Teams will also receive a Team Development session every four weeks with NVFC staff. Learn more about the U8 age group here.

U9-10 House
Teams will be coached by volunteer coaches, and will have one practice during the week and play a game every Saturday. Practices are usually on gravel. The schedule and location of practices/games is determined end of August. Games are typically held at Kirkstone ATF (U9) and Sutherland (U10). Teams will also receive a Team Development session every four weeks with NVFC staff. Learn more about this age groups here.

U11-12 House
Teams will be coached by volunteer coaches, and will have one practice during the week and play a game every Saturday. Practice and games schedules are released end of August. These age groups participate in the NSYSA league and play against North Shore teams. Learn more about these age groups here.

U13-18 House
Teams will be coached by volunteer coaches, and will have one practice during the week and play a game every Saturday. Teams will participate in the BCCSL as well as Coastal Cup.
Age of birth: 2012-2007
Dates: The BCCSL goes from September 2024 to late February 2025, and the BC Coastal Cup begins in March 2025

U9-U10 Select
Select players train during the week at a field which is determined closer to the start of the season, and play games every weekend, mainly at Kirstone ATF (U9) and Sutherland (U10). Select players will receive invitations to register for Select-only programs during the year. There are no transfer requests for select divisions.

U18 Select
Select players train at least once per week at a field which is determined closer to the start of the season, and play games every weekend as part of the BCCSL league. Dates: September to late February

U17-U18 Metro Players
Metro players train at least once per week at a field which is determined closer to the start of the season, and play games every weekend as part of the BCCSL league. Select players will receive invitations to register for Select-only programs during the year. There are no transfer requests for select divisions.
Age of birth: 2008-2007
Dates: BCCSL goes from September 2024 to late February 2025, BC Coastal Cup starts in March 2025.

NVFC Refund Policies
Youth Team Policy
- Unless we are unable to offer the player a position on a Metro or Select team, registration fees are non-refundable.
- Refund requests from non-Metro and non-Select level players are accepted until September 30th and are subject to a prorated administration fee.

- A player’s jersey(s) plus shorts must be returned to the team's manager before a refund will be processed.
- No registration fee refunds will be issued because of game cancellations or field/facility closures.
- Registration fee refund requests due to injuries or illness must be accompanied by a doctor’s note
Exceptions will be made for players:
- Who move to a higher level of play
- Who have a season-ending injury (doctor's note is required)
- Whose families unexpectedly relocate out of the the North Vancouver area.
The refunded amount may be pro-rated. Affiliation fees are non-refundable
Financial Assistance
The Club recognizes that there are families in the community for whom the registration fees pose a genuine financial hardship. We are an inclusive club, and with the support of Jumpstart, Athletics for Kids (A4K), and the generous funding of Grosvenor, we have developed a program to ensure that the registration fee alone does not prevent youth from participation in our Club.
We ask that full consideration be given to whether assistance is truly needed. Overuse of this program puts these options at risk for those who really need it.

- NVFC cannot accept registrations from International Students.
- Non-Canadian citizens may require an International Player Transfer prior to registering. Please read the International Transfer Procedure to see if this applies to you.
