Travel Reimbursement

Single Game Events 

The Club may reimburse up to $300 per trip of travel costs to the Sunshine Coast or games outside of the 4 District and 5 District boundaries for league sanctioned or BCSA sanctioned regular season or cup games.  
The team should pool their receipts for each game and send them in to treasurer@nvfc.ca.  They should indicate who the cheque should be sent to (name & address).  That person can then distribute the reimbursement as required.
Players age 18 and under can travel for free to Bowen Island for a sporting event. You must contact the Horseshoe Bay ferry terminal before you travel and present them with a letter listing the players’ names & ages. Players must travel together. Parents must purchase a ticket (it is less expensive to purchase a BC Ferries Experience card for all parents traveling with the team). The field is within walking distance - off the ferry and up the hill. No reimbursements will be provided for games on Bowen Island.

Multiple Game Events

The Club may reimburse up to $750 per event for teams participating in BCSA or CSA sanctioned Provincial or National Championship events, that involve multiple games on more than one day, if it requires travel to Sunshine Coast or outside of the 4 District and 5 District boundaries. 


All reimbursements are subject to the club budget for travel reimbursements for the season. The reimbursement, in part or in whole, must be approved by the Club Treasurer or Soccer Operations Committee
